Wow!  I suck at blogging!  Sorry about that everyone!

Anime Vegas was a great success as far as I'm concerned.  The Phantomhive Ball was a blast!  Meeting all the masquerade cosplayers and loving all their costumes was so much fun!  Having to choose who to give awards to was stressful, but at least I was with Garnet Rune-Star and Anti Ai-chan, and that made everything hysterical!  I couldn't pick two better people to be locked in a small room for two days with!  (But wow, did Garnet have MILES and miles and miles of ribbon attached to her costumes. . . and NONE of it was seen on the outside of the dress!)

I got a massive sinus infection at the beginning of this month.  Trying to wrangle kids for Miranda's 6th birthday party while not being able to breathe or keep my balance was a REAL adventure.  But now I'm through my anti-biotics and breatheing easy!  Hooray!  Oxygen is my friend!  Miranda's party went well despite my illness.  She had a "Pixie Hollow" party.  Bubbles everywhere!

Natchan and I are starting to gear up for Fannatku Fest 2010.  It will be on March 5 & 6th (Fri and Sat).  We already have some panels and workshops lined up, our dealer's tables are selling well, and we even have two sponsors already. . . Funimation and DMP Manga!  Yay for donations!  We're starting staff meetings in November and we're super excited to see it all come together.

Sewing-wise, I've taken a bit of a break for a few weeks.  I put together FFVII Tseng and Reno costumes for members of the No Life Kings to wear to Anime Banzai in Salt Lake City on the 17th.  I love suits. . . I can nearly make them in my sleep now.  Tailoring them to look like male costimes on obviosly female cosplayers is still a challenge, but I really enjoyed working on these.  No stress. . . just fun.  I'm now working on a costume for Miranda for Halloween - Ashley from RE4. (Blame her dad for that one!)  After that, the group starts into the costumes for the Visual Kei band Moi dix Mois.  I've never done VK before, so it should be a real learning experience!  Fortunately I've seen the actual band in their actual costumes live, so I have a basic idea of how they are put together.

That's it for now.  Sorry I'm not very exciting or dependable when it comes to posting.  (At least I didn't go over a year this time!)

Hugs to all!
